The outside may be covered with scars But don't let it fool you about what's inside If you travel deep within, very far You'd find many a surprise
You wouldn't find a diamond or ruby here Or even a the slightest speck of Gold dust You'd find the memories of the times I held you near Sealed within, the many chambers, fully stuffed
You wouldn't see day dreams about sports cars Nor would you see a mansion or a swimming pool You would find us looking upward at the stars Within our palace of the moon
It is here where I keep it all locked away Even though our bodies are so far apart Within these chambers is where I hope you will stay Forever the treasure of my heart
