Lost

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Tuesday, 17th April 2018 @ 03:51:45 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Trapped in a world
Oh so bizarre
No one around near or far
Lost in space
Trapped in this place
Life has long been gone
It/'/s only me come dawn

How can we know where we are with no signposts to guide us? Racecar drivers can/'/t tell how fast they are going because the scenery is a smear.

Your poem sounds like the short list of a good nightmare. A Halloween dream.
Sometimes writing them out takes their power away.

This reminded me of the movie, The Omega Man, with Charlton Heston. This allows us to imagine what we would do in that setting. An inviting poem.

//Firstly, ooooo, color!!! Me likey! 👍🏻

Secondly, I love this short to the point sci-fi type of vibe. Always leave `em wanting more and I want more.

Thank you!!!
