Love, is an unguarded heart,
A touch you take, a choice you make;
love comes for all creation;
What comes in stays in,
What goes out stays out,
Seems thats what its all about.
We require love, and then, are slain;
Love is free to send, if we so intend;
Love grows on fields of patient soil
Trees of ancient root and toil,
Yielding all we need to live
And all we need to give.
The spoken word, love, and the act to follow,
Is beyond the tricks of magic sticks;
Love is a union of the universe
Where all life is immersed;
A choice without thought
On feelings love has brought.
Love, and the varied definitions,
Deep and undefiled, a gift from a child;
Love expressed, the intimate truth
flowing from natures breath;
A comfort all pursue
And so, receive when it is due.

this is wonderful Durango
this reason for hope, young
children, and animals too
sure, we are animal
whereby from the moment
of birth, on a planet
that seems at first gaze
so unreal
these senses, an acceptance
a miracle as miraculous
as love that is so divine
there is this empathy
this metaphysical orbit
seemingly self centered
did the mother love
her offspring more
or was it the opposite
and some have profoundly more
and some have sadly less
but the potential
for love, I do believe
is immense.
your words are a spiritual

anyone should heed because
they are true.

You have defined love so completely, we can almost reach out and touch it.
This should be added to the wedding vows, for by speaking it we would have to contemplate our commitment.
(A few divorce attorneys are shaking in their boots at the possibility!)
My favorite line is A CHOICE WITHOUT THOUGHT ON FEELINGS LOVE HAS BROUGHT.
This is a difficult subject to define in four stanzas!
