When hopes just a weight you can/'/t carry The war you wage Just another losing battle And your left with no escape Caught in memories you tried to burry Fear leaves you broken Love begins to feel like hate A soul left empty As you choke away the pain Then you feel nothing Convinced you were left out in fate But this is far from over Still miles from the end It time to stand and feel the worth Time to wade the hurt These demons that chase you Were never prepaired to fight And when you stand your ground Face the rain from the stroms above Understand you can/'/t run from what you/'/ve done But can change who you become Indulge the night Cherish the dark days As you pierce the sky/'/s in light The sun to a world unknown Don/'/t let heavy momenta chain you to your past Wage on through the doubt Walk till your legs grow tired And find strenth in every step Taken Across the the horizon day will follow The war you wage now Creates the peace found tomorrow

An accurate description of what failure can do to us. But more than that, a recipe for recovery.
Peace comes from dealing with our own demons, and that, as you say, creates the peace we will cherish in the future. A worthy read for a week-end evening.

I enjoyed reading this a lot! especially the very end - "The war you wage now
Creates the peace found tomorrow" it/'/s so true! very eloquent. |
