Today we come together; Cross long forgotten bridges. Sharing faded photographs; Preceding furrowed ridges.
Honoring longevity; Respectful of our past; The young recall our history; That we may be unmasked.
They prance to garner words of praise; On coltish legs will travel; Like us they soon will find their ways; On pathways come unraveled.
So far to go, so much to know; So little time to waste; A tender shoot, a knarled old root; Come share a moments grace.

Wisdom delivered to a snappy two-step. Soft, this is quite good...you go the goods.

Love how you have brought the generations together in one poem.
Ironic how as young people we thought we knew it all and now we are older we realise just how little we knew.
Nice write
