Legend of the Young Hero

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Monday, 2nd July 2018 @ 02:33:23 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Your story is one that is remarkable
From nothing to something you unexpectedly became
A fate that you doubted was even possible at first

I must admit that silver screen does wonders for you
From the darkest of villains to the most pious of heroes
You never cease to amaze me
And as for that hero I wonder what has become of him

I shudder to think that he was a myth
A sheep apathetically following the flock
Now run-away into the freedom long overdue

Did he make it out alive after that plunge into the deep, troubled waters
He was so young from what they tell me
Misunderstood and alone it seems he often felt
Oh how I long to search the distant shore for evidence
Confirmation of his existence

Yet I ask for a task only the Lord can complete
If He found you once, He can find you again
For thats what the love of Abba Father truly looks like
Continually outstretched arms to a lost and lonely heart
One that needs to be held in the arms of its Savior
