The play, the stage, the costumes;
The painted sets and lights;
The orchestra to set the mood;
For every act tonight.
They made us laugh;
They made us cry;
As make believe befell.
The actors pranced; the dancers danced;
Until the curtain fell.
I saw them in the parking lot;
In sweats and faded jeans;
Their worknight done, and just begun;
The life they led unseen.
Tomorrow theyd be back to do ;
The same job all again; .
Just ordinary people;
Making magic eight to ten.

| It really is interesting the disparity between reality and the theatre. Almost like you are entering an entirely different world. Great poem depicting the appeal of theatre and entertainment. |

Theater is such a great hobby and profession. Although I’ve only had my parts in school and church plays, they are super fun and can make you feel as if you lead a double life—in a good way! Great work painting your work of art here. God bless,
