Peace Abyss

Do you see
My hand as I see it
Eyes sharp and bright
Blind to my beauty

Does the person
Behind the smile
Feel the daylight sun or
The shadow of night's precipice

Is there a place
Between the abyss of peace
Where we can absolve
our diplaced bliss?
