Little One

Contributed by bubbles on Tuesday, 6th August 2002 @ 01:41:54 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

There's a sad little girl, alone sad in tears,
Begging all her life for someone to take her fears,
Sitting on her bed as the tears roll down her face,
Eachday as life goes by wishing the pain would just erase,
Not knowing what true love is, a feeling never known,
She yearn that special touch a feeling deeply shown,
So young her life took leave, when will her place be found,
She sits alone in silence, hearing least not a sound,
Now as she has somebody to sit and hold her hand,
Its me that is somebody, there's never a demand,
I have to forgive that girl now, knowing she's not to blame,
No longer need the pain, soon leaving all the shame,
Then that little girl can break free from her past,
Learn to let her love herself with a love that will always last.

what a wonderful poem. We all need to feel loved and wanted by someone, or we do loose confidence in ourselves. You have made the first step to healing by writing it down. I wish you all the love in the world.

Penny.

Thank-you, that little girl is getting lots of love these days. More confidence and security. I write the best when it comes from the heart.
