quick yearning notes
repeated adagios, stranded
on this archipelago
three feet from your guitar
is an ocean and a half
swaying in the see of tendency
your symphony incubates
in my swelling center
an inflection of your frontal lobe
a conversation without word
i rest upon mesmerized memory
as i watch your fingers bend
caressing a deranged divergence
and i uninvited peer into your womb
my script is alive in your tragic tenacity
i sing devotion with every sigh
your truth lays waste to my inhibition
a perpetual dance in operatic symbiosis
fuels the harmony of our hallowed trinity
