Evil within the circle
attracted by some sort of love
Blood relatives abandoned
prayers needed to God above

Our daddy’s will was stolen
from jealousy and controlled love
Now he is gone forever
watching this fiasco from the heavens above

Never even told daddy was in a bad way
not allowed to say a final goodbye
I wish the evil person would stand before me
so I could meet them eye to eye

So heart broken
it should have never ended this way
Oh daddy we miss you
and have so many things we want to say

Torn from the grips of our love
you were blindfolded without a choice
Our hearts are burdened with pain
when our minds rehearse your final voice

This evil person whom you loved
guided you astray
This evil person will suffer in loneliness
no longer a part of this family circle in any way

Your passing was sudden
and we really want to say a final goodbye
Oh how we loved you so
oh daddy why did you have to die

Daddy we all love you
so sorry we don’t have a chance to say goodbye
This family circle will now be closed
but our souls will forever cry

I can identify with this - my dad died last year at the age of 62, and even though my sister and I were both there with him at the end, we still both didn/'/t say good-bye.

Great write.
