For the springtime goals to grow
Career change, choir concert, community outreach
All the things I am currently called to
Step by step they are all being accomplished
Unburdensome the process turns out to be
Haste-free and joyfully am I making headway
Obtaining strength from my Sole Source of help
“Spring forward in spite of winter”
The chill won’t hinder my steps
And snow would make a beautiful backdrop for my vision
My coat is warm enough for the journey ahead

Absolutely beautiful! Your words express the struggle, not only of spring from winter, but of life itself. I especially love these lines...
“Spring forward in spite of winter”
The chill won’t hinder my steps
Wonderfully penned.
Barkeep! A drink for my oh so poetic friend!

Very inspirational to me.
Yes you/'/re busy but doing things you love or called
upon to achieve and it/'/s very rewarding regardless of your day to day struggles. Beautifully written and inspirational. It/'/s nice to see positivity in today/'/s world! |

A very pleasant read. And that last line... well it just says so much more beyond what is written. |

It is really cool how you seem to weave in metaphors (the chill won`t hinder your steps & your coat is warm enough) for self motivating yourself. At least that is what it seemed to be to me.
Any ol` way, this is great writing.
Thank you for sharing yourself with the rest of us.

An inspiring vision of capability. You have affirmed that after all, you have enough to face your tomorrows. Sometimes we don/'/t know our abilities until we are tested. And sometimes, we find out we have underestimated ourselves. How sweet is that realization?!
Thank you for the reminder to hang in there and trust in ourselves.
You, after all, are the only one you can always count upon.

with me being someone that grew up in the South
and now find myself having to reside in New Jersey
I wasnt born with blood thick enough to deal with the
cold very well. Thank you for helping me come back
to reality with the fact that although one may not
be climatized to the cold (even after 17 yrs) despite
however old we may get we are constantly learning
more about ourselves and what all we are actually
capable of accomplishing. Beautifully penned and
Thank you again.

When I read your submissions, I always come away feeling younger and more at peace. Perhaps it/'/s because I know your age, and that fills with me with hope that such goodness is still found in the younger set.
Your god has blessed you, or, as I prefer to state, You have blessed the meaning of God.
So very well engineered.
