interesting to note,
that the Greeks at the time
when Socrates was alive
all believed in logic,
and in logic they believed
slavery was a necessary evil,
until there could be some type
of mechanical way to supplant
the necessity of human slaves.
Back in the old days of Greece,
it was thought that Democracy was
evil.
But in fact that was a myth,
and counter intuitive to what
they actually taught.
To Socrates, most people could
not entertain logic, most people
they thought back then, did not hold an intellectual state
of mind that would allow them
to think in any logical fashion,
and so they thought it was useless to even
try.
Yet still, Socrates was all about
teaching what he called logic.
There will be days like this
Socrates never did say.
Socrates was wrong about a lot
of things.
But Democracy is hard earned.
There is a taxonomy in democracy.
It has to be fluent, and understood
by anyone without becoming demanding
You need to have smart people
at the helm helping the others
to one day see that you need
a unique voice, a voice that isn/'/t
inclined to rule the world,
all by itself.
Which would never work.
It did not help Socrates and it
didn/'/t help Plato or Marcus Aurelius
who somehow knew...
What you said here in this poem
is interesting, historically
But far from any truth
that ever existed
Ever.
Peace!
