[hometext] => Two kids cook up a dilemma..
[bodytext] => The kids planned to cook when mom left for the store.
It would be a surprise; they had not cooked before.
They heated her cauldron; pried open the lock;
And found all the spices she kept in a box.
Threw in some soup and a pot full of bones,
When they added the spices it started to foam!
It tasted so sweet they drank every bit.
They never felt better they had to admit.
Their vision improved in swift scary phases;
They could see through her books and read all the pages!
Both faded completely into the walls.
Until neither could see the other at all!
Mom didn’t return until later that night.
You made a potion; And it worked all right!
She splashed flour all over the house everywhere.
Til her children like ghosts began to appear.
She never did fix their childish horseplay.
Both are invisible even today.
But richer by far thanks to their prank.
Mother has taught them how to rob banks.

Give me some of their brew PLEASE!!!
I could use a little extra cash. As long as an antidote is
available.
About the mom and the 2 kids and becoming bank
robbers...first thing that popped into my head was the
mom and her 2 sons from Goonies in 1985.
This could also be the origin story of the Invisible Man :)
I wish I could come up with verse as easily as you make
it appear.
This was GREAT!

Now that`s funny!!!
I love the imagery too. In some places it sorta reminded me of Charmed (the original one). I might have to go watch that again.
Thank you for always entertaining us, Queen Softy! |
