mommy cried the woman-child i miss you oh so much peering into photographs yearning for her touch
mommy screamed the woman-child i am sad for all your pain running through her dreams at night searching for the rain
mommy whispered the woman-child im embracing you with my heart walking with her head held high praying for a fresh start
mommy giggled the woman-child remember the stories wed tell dreaming within limbo not in heaven nor in hell
mommy bellowed the woman-child do you hear me? i am right here fumbling through this troubled abyss remember im always near
mommy smiled the woman-child im holding you every night sleeping oh so peacefully somehow it will be alright
