The unexpected thief

Sky filled with grief, from the clouds, thumbles the rain. Like an unexpected thief, come to steal fair weather again.
Silently it falls from above, harshly hitting the ground below. Rain empties your heart from love and leaves it feeling hollow.
But after heaven sheds it's tears a rainbow appears to erase all of our fears. Our hearts fills with love once again and we secretly hope, the thief will not steal our fair weather again.

Oh, I just loved it! Having the courage to go on loving, and trusting even though the rain came dashing down, and could have ruined your parade. I just loved the words that you used to explain that to us, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you again!
There will always be a thief around, but you don't have to stop loving just because there is!

How intricately profound...
I do believe that only great poets uniquely equate human characteristics with natural ones; even as Khalil Gibran. And yet, some even have manage 3-D dimension of wholeness (as such) that of human, spiritual, and natural.
This is creatively intriguing; and a pleasure to read. Thank you for sharing.
