I'll show you what you want to see
a portion of my soul
but tell me first just why you seek
this thing worth more than gold.
Perhaps the breath of boredom
has crossed your dreamy path.
Perhaps you seek asylum
from illiteracy's crafts.
Perhaps the itch that drives you
to draw your own thoughts out
is clawing at your mind
just enough to make you shout.
Perhaps an idea or a model
is your quest,
so you can churn out something
better than the rest.
You know something though,
and i guess this is my place,
there is quite a puzzled look
upon my puzzled face.
Perhaps the reason my
poetry is even read
has nothing to do with
everything that i just said.
So just a few more words,
and i hope you're doing fine.
I am writing cuz i'm bored,
Just ignore me. Nevermind.
