Brake Failure....

No exit from this highway,no u-turns in my sight
If only up ahead of me, I could find some traffic lights
Id indicate I'm turning off and changing my direction
But I know as I'm here driving,there's no such intersection
I had to be a lead foot and break every speeding rule
Hurrying to some unknown,I'm almost out of fuel
I'm hitting every pothole,and my suspension is a mess
These poor old shock absorbers really aren't the best
Too many roads I've travelled,hugging each and every turn
Still I go at break neck speeds,I can smell the rubber burn
Cursing now behind the wheel,if I could just pull to the side
I could take my chances somewhere else and hitch another ride
But there's no use in that plan,It's a loser from the start
'Cause I'm just a lead foot driver with an auto pilot heart
