Beautiful Opposite Land....

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Friday, 6th June 2003 @ 10:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Here in beautiful opposite land
You'll find nothing as it seems
Tread lightly on these golden sands
For they may hold all your dreams
Our moonlit midnight hours
Are your lightest part of day
And while you call out with hey or yo
We smile and say G'day
You like peanut butter
With jelly on some bread
But here in beautiful opposite land
Our jelly goes in bowls instead
You have adorable squirrels
We have koala bears
You have Yogis stealing baskets
Like our dingos take what isnt theirs
You are fascinated with our accents
As us Aussies are with yours
Here our pelicans grace the waters
While there the eagle soars
So many opposite things I find
Each and everyday
Little things to make us different
Yet unique in our own way
For everyone is special
No two people can compare
And we must respect each others ways
In this world we have to share
From here in beautiful opposite land
I'm sending across the sea
Huge huggers and lotsa love
To all of you from me
