watching you drive away
makes me oh so sad
i dont know why i feel this way
im hurting oh so bad
close our eyes and snuggle
and everythings alright
wake up to our puddle
and prepare for the daily fight
the sad part of this lovely mess
is its not you or i
that disturbs our happy nest
its for others that we cry
what, pray tell, can we do
to save this sinking ship
how can we stay in love and true
~from our shoulders knock this chip?
answers i have not today
but wish they would come soon
all i wish for is my love
nestled under the moon
