Wish my heart couldn't feel pain
So these tears wouldn't fall
Wish that I could rekindle my heart's desire
That I could renew that passionate fire
Pain is streaming from my heart
Feeling so dead, callous, numb, broken
Giving up, my insides are churning
For some peace and hope I'm striving and yearning,
But my dead eyes stare out of empty sockets
And you stumble away, as I lick greedily at the dust
Smiling at the pain maybe its something I crave
It owns me in any case... I'm a slave
Groping down a dark hallway
Wondering where dreams come from
Singing my sad song that only I know
That I wrote, to help, in my hours of woe
I'm screaming like a wounded dragon
Impaled upon my fear
I'm crying holding my heart which is bleeding
Sanctity and serenity I'm dreadfully needing
Pain is streaming from my arm
I'm crying, shaking, trying to deny that I'm bleeding
Trying to piece together the remains
Hoping, praying I'll be swept away by the spring rains

Such a powerful poem! It's really good, and like you say, it flows really well.
I liked these lines the best i think:
But my dead eyes stare out of empty sockets
And you stumble away, as I lick greedily at the dust
