she said stare into the fire answers that you're seeking will come to you in time
long red matted hair flowing wide blue eyes wildily staring rough and tattered garments wearing frayed material straps feet together binding otter-smooth she swims strong currents swirling limb-strings of jellyfish tentacles covering glistening iridescent in the sea crying the coral beach she sees is just beyond her reach
finding herself thrown there haphazardly on the front stoop like some limp discarded doll long red hair still matted clothes clammy wet and torn bright-still blue eyes stare blindly unseeingly into the low cloud-filled skies
O pain in my head
shiver and shake shake and shiver and then burn.... shake yourself woman tis sunrise she thinks
relieved now the water trial over she lies there faintly now listening to the music of the flute and drum
then just before sunrise a drink is given from a newly found bleached sea shell of wild honey still tasting of salt
and there's a feast awaiting 13 black spiders placed between 2 pieces of brown bread buttered but she shouts pog na thon pog na thon then listens to the persisting quiet whispers
anoint your head 3 times over this mixture of ground almonds cinnamin and dew all will be well in the end and in the end all will be well with rowan twigs tied with bits of string the dawn is finally breaking with sleepy eyes slowly opening I realize it was all a dream all but a dream

an authentic dream, fascinating imagery
you sure have captured something special
"finding herself
thrown there haphazardly on the front stoop
like some limp discarded doll"
what a magnificent description, I'm impressed. |
