man of wisdom
Has left this great shore
The pearly gates opened
To a heart of gold
Athol was a trooper
Till the very end
But left behind his
Most precious mate and friend
Helen treasured memories
to hold close to your heart
He'll always be with you
In spirit and by your side
A tear will be wept
A candle to light
An angel above
Keeps you safe at night
His memory still lingers
In everyone's mind
Who knew this great angel?
A gentleman with charm
Keep your memories open
And think of the times
When you were together
In each others arms
A shoulder to lean on
We all need at some time
Will never forget athol
Our trooper still shines.
