am i a demon in the flesh,
here to guide you,
save you with a sword,
am i something that you will slowly absorb,
i stare into your eyes,
lost within a grand painting,
i am loyal retainer,
the crime of love,
only shown in hate,
this place we try to escape,
decays in the wind,
can it be saved,
can you,
this truth is seldom felt,
unlike the common blue,
velvet is soft,
like your words,
even your honor,
this to defend,
the reason you are my friend,
real laughter is a cure,
but only when total and pure,
is this the demon i am,
could we go to an island,
start from nothing,
what would come from it,
a better world,
is this the way,
does it start with people,
every day,
