Suicide

Downcast by Justin Snethen
Feeling desperate and alone, I lie gazed into a vile ravine, Granted I was given the love shown, The hatred felt was unforseen,
Questions of sorts engulf the mind, Everlasting episodes of suicide, Future plans put into action, Decide the fate of this emotion,
Do I dare invest my life away, To dissolve the demon that led me astray, Or do I fight for an undesired cost, Hope for a resolution seemingly lost.
Tears begun their profound paths, Again prayers are left unanswered, To the brink of perceptual lapse, Memories are all that's left considered,
I cut the strings to life's diversion, And hope to God that I'm remembered, To beautiful days and graceful nights, are withered echoes abolished from sight.
