Don't You Dare, Or Else!

Topic: MiscPoems

Dont show her you care
Dont stroke her hair
Dont be tender of touch
Dont love her so much
Dont hold her hand
Dont sing to her band
Dont be sad when she cries
Dont spring a surprise
Dont be her biggest fan
Dont help when you can
Dont cook the dinner
Dont try to be a winner
Dont watch her to sleep
Dont even speak
Dont be so quiet
Dont help with her diet
Dont answer the phone
Dont let her be alone
Dont invade her space
Dont dream of her face
Dont share the shopping
Dont do the washing
Dont work so hard
Dont do valentines cards
Dont forget the dates
Dont ever be late
Dont be cross when she is
Dont dribble or miss
Dont tidy up after
Dont dare to show laughter
Dont shut down the lid
Dont play like a kid
Dont be such a man
Dont praise her new tan
Dont treat her like a lady
Dont slip once and call her baby
Dont remember her name
Dont be part of her game
Dont get any goodbyes
Dont believe her, She lies!
Dont think youll not find, another more kind
Dont worry shes there, its just finding where
Dont mope about, theres the door now get out!

ah, relationships! you cant do right for doing wrong.....I think you are doing just fine, its her that seems to have the problem. Though I do feel sorry for young men these days, not sure what is considered to be the correct way to act with a girl. But when you find the right girl she wont treat you like this.

Great write.

Young! Chatabox I'm thirty-one in a few weeks and I'm making myself old, but I don't feel the wise part I've been told of yet?

Dean, I can on some level simpthize with men because you guys never know how we what to be treated, or what we are thinking for that matter. All I can tell you Dean is that we are not all like that. I am not like that, at least I don't think so. Now as for you not being young because you are 31, well all I can say is you are only as old as you feel.Okay, okay, I know that this coming from a 20 year old probably doesn't hold much water. But if you think about it; it is true.

Oops sorry Candice,
this is one that I missed!!

I wish there were more like you appear to me after conversing with you for a while!

All the Women I've known (that sounds like there's been lots when in truth there's been few!!) try to second guess what I'm thinking and normally get it all wrong! So I must be giving off the wrong signals all the time, because I only have love in my heart, oh yeah and some fear, but mainly love!

Maybe I just get too intense when I feel something could be right about a relationship?

The one thing I do seem to get right is when to give up on a lost cause, even when I know it's maybe not the right thing to do in the long run! The last sentence doesn't seem to make sense, but you probably will know what I mean, I hope!!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean,
I do know exactly what you are saying. I have done things that didn't feel right but had to be done, but then they turned out to be right any way. Ok now I am talking in circles, but hopefully you understood what I am trying to say. I have had guys second guess my every move I know how frusterating it can be.
