I Think I Love You

Contributed by Tianadenise on Sunday, 15th June 2003 @ 06:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I may not know you all that well, and havent known you for that long. But I have this feeling at the bottom of my stomach whenever I see or hear from you. I cant describe the way it feels.
When it comes to my heart, its hard to break through. To me it seems that you got in with great ease.
In my heart I know I love you, while in my mind, Im having many doubts. Im being torn apart, I am so confused, and I dont know what to do.
Should I follow my heart and love you like it tells me to? Or should I do what my mind thinks is right and push this love away from me?
There are many complications and so any questions why. I dont want you to break my heart by not loving me, and I dont want to suffer from these feelings that are so deep and seem so real.
Your promises just make me want you more than everyou promise to take care of me, to be faithful all the way through, to give my strength, and courage, and to never stop loving me.
I dont wantto be taken for granted or to be pushed away from you in any waybut I do want it to be real.
You tell me youll never hurt me, and that your promises are true. And this is why I think I love you.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
