Advice

To any who would travel here
In search of my heart
Smiles its too late friend
I must depart

But if youre of a mind
If youre willing to heed advice
Take time to read this poem
A couple minutes will suffice

If one day love should grace your heart
Turn your world inside out
Grasp it with all your might
Pursue it without doubt

For love is a majestic thing
Wonderful to behold
But also can be fleeting
Perhaps not long yours to hold

So when it touches you
Grab hold and let your spirit fly
Allow your heart to touch the fire
Dont over think or reason why

And when the day comes
Love has gone away
After the tears have all fallen
Smile and say

We explored the heights of heaven
With happy and joyful hearts
Discovered loneliness has an end
And love never departs !

Russ

" Don’t over think or reason why "
this line says it all, the mind and the heart
seldom occupy the same space.

Russ..another awesme write; one with which I agree.. I believe it is better to have loved and lost to never have known a love at all.. after all, love is what keeps me alive...
Hugs,
Jenni
