twitching uncontrollably as madness takes control of me waking midst split-thighed suicides wrists torn wide, stripped of their hides
in repose from psychosis baptized in blood of homicidal bliss clutching the knife as i sit and sway to the beat of long forgotten hate parades
stalking through the night with a cleaver and scalpel sanity's return to me, looking doubtful on the hunt for the strong and weak and all those in between throats are slit at a fevered pitch 'til the cloak of night falls free of me
hunted like a much feared beast whose only crime shall be the time i took to gloat over each slit throat found admiring my art when they captured me
in the press, my life undressed and bared for all to see hated and debated over, never to be set free
prowling madly for morsels of my tale and oh, how they all grew wet when they recorded my reply to "What have you to say before you die?" and i spat "I'M NOT THROUGH YET"
in a rubber room whose walls are spattered with my screams soon, in tomb, forgotten, like a childhood dream but true nightmares don't die just because the heart ceases free from the tomb, the killer's womb my stabbing silhouette caught in bloodlust's swoon
(as i set souls free, 'neath the waning moon)
an (anti)social disease

your poetry is so dark and almost morbidly bizarre. there's always depth that i like and the imagery is powerful and strikes deep to the soul. another excellent write, keep them coming, Kate x |
