The Real Me

Contributed by squeesh on Friday, 20th June 2003 @ 05:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The outside I smile I laugh Im cheerful and happy the inside I frown I cry Im depressed and sad Im falling into a never ending hole the openings getting smaller and smaller theres no way to get out the lights fading quickly I try to think of how I got there but Im lost from within lifes gone time has stopped tears are forming fears are rising my bodys shaking and my heads spinning scars are appearing and dreams are fading my knees buckle and I slip from the ledge my pathetic life flashes before my eyes and Im gone good-bye
I can no longer see move or feel the pain is gone and Im separated from the crowd my bodys blistered blood is gushing theres no more worries Im free my spirit can fly Im gone from this place good-bye
