To love you from this quiet place
Disguise the shadows oer my face
All for the sake of truth and time
Since I hesitated to make you mine
Even now the fever which burns so hot
Keeps us each hidden in our own fretful spot
Trapped in havens that will never be ours
By treasures to great for mere feelings to devour
So if your smile still makes me weak
But the words are harder for me to speak
Never believe that I love you in vain
For my heart will always bear your name.

Very well done!!! Keep writing, even if it is all about the same thing/person, in time something else will inspire you to write about other things or feelings. I loved it!

These lines are excellent!!! Never apologise for your pain...Sometimes the pain of the deepest love lasts a lifetime even though we do get past it,it will always be a part of us...You express yourself very well...I like the honesty.
