Last night was sleepless
For hours I tossed and turned
Trying to think of a way to tell you
That my lesson has been learned
For all the pain I'm in
I put myself at blame
I just want us to be friends,
Don't you want the same?
You told me before how much you cared
The night I almost died
You're the only one who kept me
From giving into suicide
But all the pain I'm in right now
Is ten times worse than before
The pain that you caused
When you made it seem like our friendship is a chore
I'm holding so much back
There's so much I want to say
But those words would just be out of hurt
Those words would make you pay
Pay for everything you've done
All the hurtful things you've told
All the broken dreams I had
About fitting in your mold
So if you don't want to ever talk again
Don't say anything at all
If you don't want to ever see me
Don't ever bother to call
If you don't want to be friends again
I guess this is goodbye
But to say I never cared
Would only be a lie
