I reach towards the light Through the heart of my journeys My face covered in a laughing mask To cover the darkness deep inside A darkness no light can reach these days That swallows hope and love It's unquenching thrist Driving me away
My life is shrouded By the blanket of despair Depression follows like a loyal dog But can never be brought to heel I fear to drag those I care for Deep into my madness So I jump off the cliff And leave all hope behind.
