Silence of falling tears

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Silence of falling tears
running down her face
A face of gentle beauty
which emits her golden curls
She is curled up in a tight ball
with small arms holding tight
Tucked away in the darkness
with rolling tears of silence.
She can hear the voices of deep anger
as she waits for the storm to pass
She can feel the tenseness in the air
and turns to a figure of stone.
If she is as still as the night
No one will see or hear her
This little girl with golden curls.
The storm subsides into quietness
the little girls arms unfold
She kneels beside her bed
and holds together her hands
A silent prayer to God
for keeping her safe this night.
The little girls knows
her guardian angel is there
who dries up her tears of silence
Enfolded in his warmth of love
she falls into a slumber of sleep
Her angel of love watches her dream
He will leave behind a trail of petals
for her to know that her angel is there
