Heavily Hurt

Contributed by Sapphire on Friday, 27th June 2003 @ 02:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

HEAVILY HURT

I've had it to here with your sherry and beer,
You drink like a fish every night.
Well I hope in disgust that your bladder will bust,
I hate you - stay out of my sight.
The pain that you've put this family through
Shows signs of breaking in two.
The stress and the strain of a love that you've slain
Will end with the downfall of you.
You steal and you cheat, won't accept defeat,
Well, your number's up at last.
I have my pride - I'm not on your side,
You're just a thing of the past.
My family and I share a love that is deep,
I won't let you take that away.
It's too late to regret - I'll see you hang yet,
You've gone too far and you'll pay.
You are no more the man I adored,
No longer my father, nor other,
Now, to me, you will only be,
The man who married my mother.

Sue

This is a very intense write.Your feelings were/are justified but I'm so happy you are able to at least be ok with him now. :)
