morning glories n' moon flowers enchanted beauty during all hours planted next to one another in stride when one will bloom the other subsides the vines they grow up and compile twisting and turning to bring a smile along fence or string they will combine and share the space for beauty to aline morning glories bloom giving a daily bouquet moon flowers nightly their delightful maguey a little love and water will make them dance prettily warming one's heart in garden's romance inch by inch they willingly climb living peacefully in melodious rhyme

Heavenly Write!
I have morning glorys right out side my door.
Before Fall gets here they climb all the way to the top of my t.v. antenna.
Luv it!

A morning glory in the garden
Conjures thoughts, beg my pardon
For a moonflower, i am not familiar
Different country, have something similiar
Your gardening tip, now a thought
Will see the nusery and be taught.
Excellent Ness !

Nessa, a joy to read, particularly because I've put a special effort in this year to make the garden look nice (about time). Your lovely poem is my reward because I can read it and glow. |

Ladyfawn,
This poem is excellent. You took something everyone can easily relate to, wrote beautifully about it, and then made me pause and rethink the simple beauty we routinely ignore. Wonderful!

Oh nessa if I typed my thoughts while reading this poem it would be the longest comment EVER!
I can see the mornin glories so clearly in my mind. My grandmother had a trellis beside her garage that had mornin glories growing up it. The flowers were like bells that opened and a beautiful rare shade of blue that I can't describe. Sort of like the color "cornflower blue" found in a crayola box. I don't know what moon flowers are but she also had 4'oclocks that would open at night. I actually sat in the flower bed once investigating what time they bloomed and it wasn't four oclock i'll tell you that. There is something about nature and flowers that appeals so deeply to me.
Thank you for this one.
