Let me down easy...cushion my fall
can anyone hear me... whenever i call
when evers forever... what ever will be
let me down easy... its hard being me...
Pick me up softly... show me the way
steer me to heaven... i've so much to say
i want to ask Jesus... why do we obey
pick me up softly... from where ever i lay...
Talk to me sweetly... kind words i can hear
banish to vanish... my anguish and fear
help me to listen... so i can understand
all that i'm missing... is out of my hands...
Hold me so tightly... and dont let me fade
promise you'll teach me... from mistakes i have made
help me to reap... from all that i sow
hold me so tightly... and dont let me go...
What if all the things... you wished for in your world
...were there beside you...
what if all... you ever wanted... just came true
what if you were sacred... blessed... and so unique
what if you could touch your dreams
would your mind... still wish to seek...
Let me down easy... cradle my smile
pick me up softly... stay here a while
talk to me sweetly... of things i dont know
hold me so tightly... and dont let me go...
