Banished Darkness

We live in the darkness, that cover our soul. The one from the Lord, and of beauty untold.
In darkness we reside, searching for the light. We cry and beg and howl, yet search without true sight.
We fail to see the light, only suffer, day and night. Lost, lonely, searching for a way, but I see none in sight.
The Lord guides my way, only His hand I hold. I lose myself in His arms, seeing His eyes of gold.
The Lord lights our way, and often guides our steps. For Him, we must search, our soul, its hidden depths.
Love the Lord like Life, and remove the Devil's Knife.
