Grass in the Wind

Whistling winds, whining woefully, Soldiers of wheat fight daily. Spirit, courage, battles and wars, many of them die bravely.
It blows all day, and twists and twirls. Looking so pretty, patterns and curls.
They resist and fight, alongside the lake, Bending and bending, but none ever break.
To see this is to cry, and forever say goodbye. Long grass on the hillside, blown by berry-scented winds.
To love, one must bend. Your heart, you must lend.

Imagery! It seems so rare on this sight. I enjoyed this greatly. You are a talented individual and I give you a 4.74 on the Nortiscale for this one. |
