It's Me Again

Contributed by TeenageEmoGirl on Friday, 4th July 2003 @ 09:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Hey there sweetness, it's me again
Ready for some blood to be shed?
Told me "Go on and die already!"
But my love, you know I'm already dead!
Don't you remember my funeral?
Or has it slipped your mind?
Remember how I was murdered,
By your words so unkind?
So you may not remember the night,
But the reasons you should recall.
But I'd never refresh your memory
If you've lost any reflections of me at all
But you were always better at this game,
Better than I could ever wish to be,
I know I could never hurt you
With the ease that you hurt me
It's second nature to you,
Breaking my heart in two
But seeing as it happened every night
Wasn't it boring you?
Or is it choice two
Did you get some sick pleasure from my pain?
Did you point and laugh
And yell out "she's insane!"
You're guilty of both these crimes
And many more hidden inside
You want me to keep it a secret
The story of how I died
But as I look at you from hell,
Those secrets I can't keep
I hope they haunt you all day long
And follow you into your sleep
Because the secret's out; you dont care
You're a self-absorbed, immature ass
Because you stood there without a care
While I broke the glass
"Should I take this to my throat?" I cried
"Yes, slit it twice until you bleed blue"
And so I followed your advice
Because suicide's better than being unloved by you
Hey there sweetness, it's me again
Ready for some blood to be shed?
Told me "Go on and die already!"
But my love, you made me dead!
I just wish I knew while I was still alive
That I could have lived without your touch
I wish that I would have left your ass
I wish I hadn't cared so much
But those wishes are just that - wishes
And I found out wishes never come true
But I'm still so glad I followed your advice
Death's better than life, because its without you.
