Her hair it cascades down
Like a string of leaves, falling from an autumn tree
Eyes deep, but bright, peering into your essence
Like a goddess, deciding your fate
You dont know what, but you know you dont want it to end
You feel, like youd do anything for this lonesome goddess
The girl to which all is dire
The one to be with
The one to know
You need her to complete the part of you floating in that cosmic gap
Those who see the lonesome goddess are sad with the release of beauty and faith
Forever lasting, forever longing to see this one face
The face of true happiness
The face of blissful life
True beauty never foreseen this goddess
This lonesome goddess with golden-red hair and piercing eyes
The words of truth spoken never more beautifully from these lips
Articulate with the sincerity of an angel
Smile of reassurance and intimacy
Handing the embrace of infinite paradise
Not quite achieving
But forever yearning
For this one lonesome goddess
Want it just for a moment, and when shes gone, its gone, the emotion of wondrous pleasure
The dreams evolve; the planets revolve, for this one elusive girl
The one you know is every part of you, the one you know is out of reach
Never ceasing, always believing, in this one lonesome goddess
The one with the golden-red leaves on that beautiful autumn tree

| An amazing write. I can relate to it so much as I was once the girl in your poem, with someone I didn't want to be with, finding someone I loved. Unfortunately when I broke it off with my boyfriend and went to the guy I loved it just ended in tears. I loved this piece and agree with tease_whizz - welcome to YPDC and hope to hear more from you |
