Although I've only known you for a short time
You are still a good friend to me
I can come to you with my problems
Just as you can come to me with yours
We talk to each other about everything
No subject is off limits with the two of us
We have talked about painful things
And we've talked about happiness
In the time I have known you
You have become a true friend to me
Even though you live far away
The miles do not matter
Because you listen to what I've got to say
Trisha, you are one of my best friends
