Take a walk
off the edge of the flat earth!
walking next to me
in the surface of your smile.
Even if you feel like youre dying,
Im not lying
about the flat earth,
how youve got to take that walk.
There wasnt any other choice
but for you to walk,
seeing forever until the edge stares back
from what you are looking for.
And its the walk over the flat edge
that nobody wants to take;
huddled
centered in ourselves
not daring to take the walk,
always thinking that the earth is round
until you take a walk
off the edge of the flat earth
