I take a look at society All we've learned through the years All we've learned to ignore All we've done to forget
I feel like a bird Once wild and free Now locked in a cage Endlessly beating at the glass
Some how I know I'll never be free But I can still try My futile attempts
Locked behind the glass Slowly suffocating, no air But there's no one to care No hand to grab for help
Flying free, no safety net Then plunging to my death Straight to the ground, an arrow I had fun in this life, good-bye
