the tale of an angel

Contributed by InteruptedFate on Thursday, 10th July 2003 @ 07:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

lifted up on heaven's wings,
your smile burning bright,
your halo gold and shiny,
and you heart content with light.

looking down upon us all,
from your cloud up in the sky,
protecting us from darkness,
and bringing us to light.

your guidance, kind and gentle.
your touch just like a rose.
your presence like a light bulb,
which leaves you with not foes.

your faith is never failing,
and your heart is filled with gold.
your love is never ending,
and you warm us from the cold.

i cant see you, but i feel you.
you embrace me when i fall.
and if it be, i cannot stand,
youll stand for me, proud and tall.
