Love
Is something I seek to find
Hope
Is something I keep in mind
Who I Am
Is something that might not be right
To someone else
But I dont know
I cant see through their eyes

People change
Its why I must change too
People dream
Mostly I dream of you
People lie
Sometimes its all they can do
To not hurt your feelings
Or to hurt them real good

Now I sit and wonder just what its going to take
To make all these feelings I have simply go away
I didnt ask to feel like this. I cant control that I do
I didnt WANT to be plagued by these shameful feelings for you
I cant tell a soul. Who cares? Well I do
Acceptance is something I clutch so dearly to

Do I live my life in fear? Id like to say no
But the truth is I do and it kills me to know
I can be stronger. Its my life after all
Im just too scared to stand up. I know myself. Im going to fall.
