Sitting at a table in a little bar 'cross town Contemplatin' slammers tryin' to keep this hurtin' down Should never have opened up my heart and let your lying in You've walked away and left a mess Where your muddy boots have been The dukebox in the corner is playin' country songs All the same with different names about love that has gone wrong The tequilas' left to sit alone but for the lemon by its side 'Bout now I get to thinkin' you're just not worth the ride I've had my share of broken dreams, know just what heartaches about Drownin' the hurt in drunken tears will only turn my insides out Im hopin' I'll get over you,my heart she'll come up clean Till then I'll be trippin' on the dirt where your muddy boots have been
