its hard to see when you turn out the light
where the tears i am crying are well out of sight
its hard to know when you dont have a clue
and cant understand why im angry with you
its hard to touch when you're hardly around
and when you're here you're stressed and down
its hard to be when you havent before
and loving and trying has turned into a chore
its hard to trust when you forget
and excuses and reasons turn into regret
its hard to speak when you dont want to tell
and nothing at all is worthy of "hell"
its hard to be truethful when its easier to lie
and push all remorse and emotion aside
its hard to stay when you want to go home
when honestly you'd rather be alone
its hard to see when you close the door
and the tears that had stopped begin once more
