this play, this life, this tragedy coming to an end and what have i learned from all of this that the happy times weren't worth the ***** that i swam through to get there that "pointless" and "hopeless" are the two most depressing words of all i learned that, in the end, the only way out is the Hole within the Flame and by the time you arrive at suicide you're too tired to place any blame
i always knew i'd die like this never a doubt in my mind finally overcome the guilt felt for those i'll leave behind a few drops of pure nicotine in my coffee and i'll quietly slip away finally free, finally at peace as i go home, to that Beautiful World of Grey
i thought i'd cry as the days grew near thought i'd be profoundly sad but as my time ticks slowly away i see that it's not that bad i was born to die and so were you one day, i hope you'll see it too what good is life if it's just going to end embrace the blade kill yourself, my friend if you're happy now then do it quick before everything just turns to ***** and if you're depressed then head for the hearse because in this life it only gets worse
preparing to die my time, so near my constant failure is my only fear for, if i ***** this up and get put away i'll be trapped here forever imprisoned, i'll stay no hope of getting another chance no swooning with Death in that Macabre Dance just white walls and shock therapy no escape from reality
ever sad song i ever heard is playing in my mind, one last time and every ghost of a love lost have come 'round to say goodbye in cycles, slowly, i'm shutting down replaying each memory, both good and bad watching, with frozen apathy every experience i've ever had
all hate has disappeared anger is dying slow the weariness i feel inside is all i have to show
(would you like to watch me as my body starts to convulse would you like to touch me as my skin begins to grow cold would you like to kiss me as my lips turn frozen blue would you like to watch me give up and give in)
would you like to watch me throw it all away

Hey, Roy this was so depressing, yet so so so friggin good. You show the reader your pain and you douse the reader in it you draw the reader in and let him taste just a bit of what you feel. In answer to the last line I would like to see you smile.
Peace Brother,
Joel (Bobo) |

I hear your pain, I feel your pain, and yet I'm helpless to help you with your pain. Bless your heart! For those of you that have no hope, Please know there is hope out there for you.....just knock on the door. Call your local "Hot line" I'll talk to you, and comfort you.
Your poem was sublime!
