looking back upon this era
my eyes fill up with tears
thinking on my lack of function
I tally up my beers
tried so hard, fought so long
to nestle in this place
only to be forever reminded
with a deafening slap in the face
wish me to forgive the past
but you dont play fair, my love
Ive been left out with the trash
just a remnant of your dove
love me, yes, I believe its true
I feel it from your heart
but respect me you will never do
I knew this from the start
and so with my pathetic prose
I ready for my fate
because I love you just that much
my forever constant mate
